UNEP/GRID-Arendal launched a report at CBD/COP-10 entitled Protecting Arctic Biodiversity: Strengths and limitations of environmental agreements. The report takes a broad view of existing MEAs and examines the role of the global environment in impacting and influencing the efficiency of Arctic MEAs in protecting biodiversity and in sustainable development.
